On this page I present current projects.
My artistic exploration of chronic illnesses and spaces of perception is central to my work – combined with formats that enable participation and open up new perspectives between art, medicine and society.
Waterkant Exhibition
Reizräume (Stimulation Spaces)
As part of the Waterkant Festival, an interactive exhibition on migraine, sensory processing, and self-management is being created. The digital choose-your-own-adventure game "Migraine Management" will be on display, along with an artistic coloring and activity book for people with migraines. Visitors are invited to playfully and creatively explore the often invisible experiences of illness.

Interdisciplinary Workshop
Making the invisible visible
An artistic and participatory workshop that brings together patients and medical professionals. Together, the participants develop artistic forms of expression for experiences with migraine that are often difficult to communicate.
The workshop is being held in cooperation with the Kiel Pain Clinic under the direction of Prof. Hartmut Göbel and the German Migraine and Headache Society and is supported within the framework of the EU-co-financed project CultureAndHealth Platform (organizer: humaQ gGmbH together with Healing Culture Network e. V.).

Research project
Dialogue space pain
Together with the Institute for the History of Medicine and Science Studies at the University of Lübeck and the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, I am currently planning an interdisciplinary research project at the intersection of art, health, and science communication. The project will investigate the extent to which art can influence the destigmatization of migraine in society.

Community Award
DigAMus Award
In 2020, together with colleagues, I founded the DigAMus Award – the first award for digital offerings from museums and memory institutions in German-speaking countries. The award connects cultural stakeholders, showcases innovative projects, and provides guidance in the digital landscape. Since 2022, it has been supported by the German Museums Association and since 2025 by NFDI4Culture.
