COMPLETED PROJECTS
I work in an interdisciplinary manner at the intersection of art, culture and science communication.
My work combines artistic practice, strategic cultural consulting and science-related communication formats – with a particular focus on migraine, chronic illnesses, visibility and social dialogue.
Depending on the project, I work artistically, consultatively, conceptually or research-related – often combining these perspectives.
Exhibition
KOPFLANDSCHAFTEN
The exhibition "KOPFLANDSCHAFTEN" (Headscapes) took place from June 3rd to 13th, 2026 in the pop-up pavilion in Kiel.
It was supported by Kiel Sailing City, the Kiel Citizens' Foundation and Science Comes To Town 2026 and took place in cooperation with the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Kiel, the Kiel Pain Clinic and the German Pain Society.
The exhibition translates personal experiences with migraines into artistic works. The aim was to make migraines tangible beyond medical facts and to enable an open dialogue.

Audiovisual installation
Broken Echoes
BROKEN ECHOS delves into the inner topography of migraine – a state between overstimulation, exhaustion, and the attempt to maintain meaning amidst chaos. The installation combines sculptural elements, video, and drawing into a space that makes physical and emotional resonances tangible.
BROKEN ECHOS was created within the context of the "Listening Sessions" of Atelier umraum eV, a format in which artists and DJs collaboratively explore sound and space, and was funded by the city of Kiel. The installation took place on November 14th and 22nd, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Impulswerk Alte Mu eV.

A laboratory for digital cultural mediation
VRlab at the Deutschen Museum
From 2018 to 2023, I conceived, built, and managed the VRlab at the Deutsches Museum – since 2021 under the name Proxy. The project originated within the framework of the collaborative project "museum4punkt0" and was implemented in cooperation with artists, universities, and startups. The space served as an open platform for experimenting with XR, VR, participatory education, and digital art. Interdisciplinary collaborations with startups, artists, and universities resulted in new formats for the museums of the future.

An international professional development programme for digital cultural transformation
MEANING-MAKING
“Meaning Making” originated as part of my employment at the Deutsches Museum and was funded through the collaborative project museum4punkt0. Together with Abhay Adhikari, I developed the program during the pandemic as an international workshop format on digital outreach and social responsibility in cultural institutions. Working with guests from the fields of culture, media, and activism, we created a multi-part program featuring podcasts, comics, and mentoring. The series received international attention and was documented.
