CULTURE
I advise cultural institutions on digital transformation – with experience, conceptual strength and an eye for the essentials.
For over eight years, I've been working at the intersection of theory and practice, strategy and design. At the Deutsches Museum, I was responsible for the conception and management of the VRlab/Proxy, among other things, and developed innovative educational formats using XR and digital storytelling. As a co-founder of the DigAMus Award, I raise the profile of digital cultural offerings in German-speaking countries.
Furthermore, I support institutions in developing digital strategies, with grant applications, in change processes, or in participatory outreach projects. My work is collaborative, application-oriented, and characterized by a deep understanding of the complex challenges of cultural practice.
DigAMus Award
Strengthening digital visibility for culture
In 2020, together with colleagues, I founded the DigAMus Award – the first award for digital offerings from museums and memory institutions in German-speaking countries. The award connects cultural stakeholders, showcases innovative projects, and provides guidance in the digital landscape. Since 2022, it has been supported by the German Museums Association and since 2025 by NFDI4Culture.

VRlab at the German Museum
A laboratory for digital cultural mediation
From 2018 to 2023, I conceived, built, and managed the VRlab at the Deutsches Museum – since 2021 under the name Proxy. The project originated within the framework of the collaborative project "museum4punkt0" and was implemented in cooperation with artists, universities, and startups. The space served as an open platform for experimenting with XR, VR, participatory education, and digital art. Interdisciplinary collaborations with startups, artists, and universities resulted in new formats for the museums of the future.
MEANING-MAKING
An international training format for digital cultural change
“Meaning Making” originated as part of my employment at the Deutsches Museum and was funded through the collaborative project museum4punkt0. Together with Abhay Adhikari, I developed the program during the pandemic as an international workshop format on digital outreach and social responsibility in cultural institutions. Working with guests from the fields of culture, media, and activism, we created a multi-part program featuring podcasts, comics, and mentoring. The series received international attention and was documented.
