Gestickte Gefühle (Embroidered feelings)

Ongoing Series

This series brings together textile miniatures in which emotion, physicality, and vulnerability are inscribed in yarn. I work with thread, fabric, wire, and color—and try to embroider, which is difficult to describe.

In some works, small figures emerge: huddled, holding themselves, vulnerable. In other images, organs, abstract lines, or pulsating spaces take shape - as if they were inner visions, made visible against a delicate background.

The fabric is mostly dyed in shades of blue and gold, reminiscent of water, depth, and memory. The frames—round or square - provide a calm contrast to the restlessness of the motif.

Fixed was the beginning - a heart made of wire, held by thread. Since then, variations have emerged: new forms, new states.

Embroidered Feelings speaks of vulnerability that becomes visible. Of what lies within. Of the strength to hold oneself - sometimes with just a single thread.
