This zine was created during an intensive week-long course on Heligoland as part of the BAH program "Hands-on Marine Biology" (Alfred Wegener Institute). I documented my encounters with researchers and my on-site observations in drawings, photos, and text. My notes evolved into a visual exploration of the sea - supplemented by my own research and a great deal of curiosity.
